WILL MY WEDDING BE UNIQUE?
Yes all of our weddings are uniquely styled for each couple. We spend time with you finding out about your personal requirements for design, wedding theme and colour scheme, and then we work hard to implement this into your day so your wedding is as unique as you are.
WHY DO YOU HAVE PACKAGES?
We have different Wedding Packages for each venue. These packages are for guidance so that you can see what a wedding will cost at that venue, based on your guest number and what could be included. This helps you to understand how much a wedding could cost you. All of our packages are completely flexible as explained below.
CAN I ‘PICK & MIX’ FROM THE PACKAGES?
Yes, the packages are for guidance only. Every wedding we plan is uniquely planned, designed and styled just for you. We will take you through all of the options and discuss the costs and full details of each suppler as we go through the planning process, at that stage you can make the final decision. Nothing is set in stone at the start. At the start of the planning you can let us know which package you would like to start with and the changes you require and we will account for this when we start planning.
ARE YOUR PLANNING FEES INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGES?
Yes our Wedding Planner Fees are included in each package.
CAN I CHANGE THE DATE OF MY WEDDING ONCE BOOKED?
As we have all seen with the Covid Pandemic, sometimes it is necessary to change the date of your wedding. Most of our venues and suppliers have done this in the past free of charge, some charge a small admin fee, and/or an annual price increase. When you book your wedding venue you will be given a contract which will state the terms, please read this prior to paying the deposit. If you did decide to change the date of your wedding we would manage the date change for you so that you do not have to worry about this, we do charge an admin fee which is based on the amount of work required (i.e. how many wedding suppliers you have booked and how complex your wedding is) plus a subsidy for taking up a future wedding date that we can no longer sell to a new wedding couple. Before a change of date is agreed we will let you know any associated costs.
HOW CAN I KEEP AN EYE ON SPENDING/BUDGET?
When we start planning your wedding we will produce a Budget Planner for you, this will include any payments made, any future payments due from booked venues and suppliers, plus our estimated prices for any other suppliers we have not yet booked. We keep this up to date so you can monitor your spending. If you are on a restricted budget we can also guide and help you to make decisions for the priorities.
WHERE ARE YOUR VENUES?
All of our venues are located between Altea and Gandia which are all north of Alicante Airport and south of Valencia Airport, in the Northern Costa Blanca region.
CAN WE CHANGE THE FOOD PACKAGE INCLUDED?
Yes, in most of our venues they offer Bespoke Menu’s which are put together based on your personal requirements, so we can change and adapt what food and drinks are included. So if you want a chilled buffet, or a selection of Spanish paellas, or perhaps a formal sit down meal – no problem.
CAN THE PRICE OF A WEDDING CHANGE FROM WHAT IS ON THE PACKAGES?
Sometimes prices can change, for example some venues increase their costs for a certain days of the week, for example a Saturday in mid summer may cost more than the package price has estimated. However not all venues do this. Before we book the venue we will inform you of any cost changes so you are fully informed.
Please note that our packages have been put together based on the latest prices. Suppliers and venues have the right to change the prices but we will confirm the cost before booking any venue or supplier so that you are fully informed. Any increases in costs or unexpected costs are out of our control and therefore we cannot take responsibility for this.
DO WE HAVE TO USE YOUR WEDDING SUPPLIERS?
We have spent years working with our chosen wedding Suppliers/professionals and we know we have a unique hand-picked collection of the best wedding suppliers in this area who are all extremely talented, experienced and competitively priced. Having worked with the same team at weddings for many years, at our chosen high quality wedding venues, we know that we can rely on each other to give our wedding couples the best wedding day ever. We all have high standards and high expectations of each other, we also work together very closely and smoothly and know how each other works. For this reason we do not choose to work with any supplier outside of our team as in our experience this can cause issues.
We know in some instances it is important to have a different supplier attend your wedding for a variety of reasons, so if this is the case then please speak to us – we will be flexible where necessary, but please note that we do not manage any supplier that is not on our recommended portfolio of suppliers.
WILL MY WEDDING BE LEGAL?
The legal marriage process here in Spain is long and protracted and most couples choose to legalise their marriage prior to or post the wedding here in Spain to avoid this process and additional cost. Our packages include the Blessing (non legal) wedding ceremony. If you choose to legalise your marriage at home then the Blessing Wedding Ceremony here whilst not legally binding is a testament to your love witnessed by all of your friends and family. It is just like a traditional ceremony where you make your vows to each other in front of witnesses, declare your love for each other, exchange rings and sign the certificate, you can also have readings, poems and anything else that you wish to include. The ceremony is completely personalised to you both and contains stories of how you met and your life together.
Some couples choose to keep their simple legal marriage at home a secret and not tell their loved ones that the ceremony here is not legal as no-one would know the difference, this is of course your choice.
WILL WE HAVE A WEDDING PLANNER TO ATTEND ON THE DAY?
Our experienced Wedding Planner(s) will attend your wedding day, with the exception of a wedding venue where this is not necessary.
