1. Although it’s good to have a colour palette in mind, it’s best to have a good look at the venue you have chosen for your big day and get inspiration from that. What you may of had in mind at the start of your planning may change once you’ve chosen your venue.

2. Make sure you take into account what season your wedding is in or even your destination. what might look good in summer may not work if your having an autumn wedding, so make sure you’ve got the colours of the season in mind to match with flowers, decor etc ..

3. Chose colours that you love. A lot of brides tend to chose colours that they would never normally chose because they want their wedding to be different, but try to stick to things you know you love.

It will also help you to not change your mind on the colours last minute.
